Naturally, I also have to put out some 2021 stats from Fundera to help educate, so here is what I found:👇⁣

☑️ FUN FACTS:⁣

1️⃣The US has 12.3 million women-owned businesses.⁣

2️⃣US women-owned businesses generate $1.8 trillion a year.⁣

3️⃣40% of US businesses are women-owned.⁣

4️⃣Women started 1,821 net new businesses every day last year. ⁣

5️⃣64% of new women-owned businesses were started by women of color last year. ⁣

6️⃣Latina women-owned businesses grew more than 87%.⁣

7️⃣There are 114% more women entrepreneurs than there were 20 years ago. ⁣

👎NOT FUN FACTS: ⁣

💼Despite the recent progress, roughly 8% of all Fortune 500 companies are led by women. And only 3 CEOs on the list are women of color. Not to mention the pandemic has had an even more negative effect on mothers juggling remote learning for kids and working from home. ⁣
